How it started

The Watch Bench began on eBay, selling carefully refurbished watches to customers across the UK. Over the years, we built our reputation by restoring pre-loved watches and providing the quality, value, and service our customers came to expect.

That experience naturally led us into watch repair. Today, we focus on repairing and refurbishing quartz, kinetic, and solar watches, helping customers keep watches they value rather than replacing them unnecessarily.

We've built our reputation through thousands of genuine customer transactions, including more than 3,000 positive eBay feedback ratings, alongside the reviews from customers on The Watch Bench website.

Expert repair, without the fuss

Our dedicated team of skilled watch repairers has a combined 76 years of experience. We understand that a watch can be much more than something that tells the time. It might be a much-loved everyday watch, a gift, a family keepsake or simply a watch you don't want to replace.

Our repairs range from battery and capacitor replacement through to movements, glass replacement, polishing and refurbishment. We use manufacturer-supplied or officially approved parts where available and have the specialist equipment needed to work on the watches we accept.

A simple, low-risk process

We believe sending a watch away for repair shouldn't be complicated.

You request a free quote. You send us your watch. We repair it.

And if we can't repair your watch, or you decide not to proceed, we'll refund you in full and return your watch at our expense.

We also keep you informed throughout the process, so you know what's happening with your watch.

Our roots in refurbishment are still an important part of The Watch Bench. Alongside our repair service, we offer a carefully selected range of new and pre-loved watches.

Every pre-loved watch we sell goes through our own refurbishment process before it reaches a customer. We only offer watches that meet our standards for condition, quality and performance.
